I don’t know about you, but for me, 2011 has been a bit of a disaster so far.

In the final days of 2010, I had so many plans and ideas…and then? Err. Yeah. Nothing happened. Whoops.

So, I’ve decided that the Chinese New Year is the perfect time to begin again. Forget all those New Year’s Resolutions – I’m making Chinese New Year’s Resolutions.

true confessions of a book pervert

Dear readers: I have a confession to make.

I live a long way from where I work. Every day, I travel from the distant outskirts; the very petticoats of Western Sydney, right into the middle of the city – and then a little bit south. A train takes me most of the way, then I catch a bus for the final leg of the trip. Because Sydney’s public transport system is terminally useless, this trip takes me around an hour and a half, each way.

Hang on. That’s not my confession. Because that would be a totally boring confession.

Dear Mum,

You won’t ever read these words, because I won’t tell you they’re here. You don’t even know this blog exists. But I’m writing this anyway.
